Linen Dress at the Farmer’s Market

A Linen Dress at the Farmer's Market

Outfit Details: Reformation Linen Dress (almost sold out, similar styles here, here, & here)

After nearly 3 weeks out of town in May, David and I couldn’t wait to get back home to our own kitchen. We love filling our fridge with fresh fruits and vegetables. The Farmer’s Market is the perfect place to grab all the produce we need. We headed out early Saturday morning to try to beat the crowds to strawberries, summer squash, and, of course, some flowers for the countertop.

North Carolina started reaching temperatures in the 80s and 90s earlier than usual this year, so I decided to pull out this Reformation linen dress. I purchased it last summer for our sailing trip to Greece. Growing up in the South, people always talked about their love for linen. I never understood it until we moved back from California last spring. The humidity and warm temperatures shocked my body and I found myself reaching for linen every week. This summer, I’m eyeing similar linen dresses. This white one is great for my budget and could be dressed up or down. This wrap midi linen dress is an easy throw-on for a picnic or a quick errand. I linked a few more linen dress at various price points below in the slider.

One of my favorite things about the Farmer’s Market is the colors! It’s true what they say about eating the rainbow being the best way to eat. We also take full advantage of the samples. This week we tried peanuts, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, and local honey. At about 10:30am, we realized we hadn’t had coffee, so David and I headed to our favorite shop with goodies in tow for a daily dose of caffeine.
