Best of Caramel for Fall

Natalie shares the season's best picks in one of her favorite fall colors - caramel.

I’ve been sorting through my clothing recently in preparation for a closet clean out, and I realized how much I’m drawn to warm tones. They’re similar to the colors we see on trees this time of year, but beige, olive green, cream, burgundy, and burnt orange are what you’ll see in my closet year-round. With that being said, once fall comes along, the rusty, caramel color is by far my favorite color to wear. My most recent purchases in this color were this oversized sweater (last seen here) and this corduroy skirt.

Coats

Raleigh may receive its first snowfall next week, which is crazy to think about! This means it’s officially time to pull out layers that are a bit thicker. Teddy coats are very in style this year, and I like the gold details on this teddy zipup. It’s currently 30% off with the code “Friends.”

Sweaters

Caramel is a versatile color that goes with practically everything, so it’s the perfect layering tone to add on top of jeans, black denim, or pants in a fun fall color, like burgundy or olive. This under $60 sweater is currently in my cart at & Other Stories, and I linked a few others I’m loving below.

Dresses

With the holidays ahead, black, red, and sequins will be frequented by party-goers, but I like the idea of doing something different with a caramel or burnt orange color. As you know, I’ll take a mock neck any day, so I love the collar, color, and length of this classy-yet-sultry midi dress.

Shoes, Bags & Accessories

I’ve been eyeing this caramel Michael Kors bag (currently 30% off) for months now, as well as practically every leather item Cuyana has to offer. I absolutely love the raw edge detailing on this fedora, and these booties would be a nice departure from the traditional brown or beige color without being overwhelmingly vibrant.
