A Bucket List for Fall

It’s here. North Carolina has finally touched down into 60 degree weather and, needless to say, it’s glorious. Anyone who knows me knows I love this season! Of course I’m drawn in for all the ‘basic’ reasons: cozy clothing, warm and hearty food, seasonal flavors, crackling fires. But there’s something deeper that makes me come alive this time of year. Fall is a fresh start, in a way, after the long days of summer. The earlier nightfall draws us inward, literally and personally, to reflect on all that the year’s brought us thus far. And I love the communal aspect of it, too, with football games, holidays, and fairs or festivals popping up every weekend.

With less than 75 days left until winter, I thought it’d be fun to share my fall bucket list. Screenshot it, share on Instagram with the items circled you’ll definitely be doing, and tag me. I’d love to see how you’re savoring this season!

We’ve already checked off several of the items on the list below in Raleigh and during our anniversary trip to Vermont. I went a little darker with my hair in late September, we visited an apple orchard with apple cider donuts and hot cider in Vermont, and I’ve decorated the front porch. There’s still much of the list left to do, and I’m dead set on making this season a special one.

Let me know which items you like most from this list in the comments or on Instagram. In need of more autumn inspiration? Check out my Fall Boot Guide, the Beauty Products I’ll be Using this Fall, and 8 Pieces to Transition from Summer to Fall.
