Most women tend to think about all-white outfits in the same way. Something to the tune of “that looks so chic, but I could never pull it off.” While a monochrome all-white look does have an air of elegance, you don’t have to be Marilyn Monroe or Princess Diana to pull it off.

Here’s the secret: everything you need for an all-white winter outfit is already in your closet. Just grab a pair of white pants, trousers, or a skirt. Next, find a coordinating white blouse, sweater, or tee. This forms the foundation of the look.

From there, you have options:

– Keep the monochromatic theme by adding a cream cardigan and cream shoes.

– For a pop, add a black accessories: a coat, shoes, sunglasses, and a crossbody.

– Craving color? A pastel layer, like a blush or blue coat, or shoes would look beautiful.

My base layer items were my crop jeans (one of my favorite pairs of denim under $100) and a simple sweater. I kept the palette but added interest with a cream cardigan and shearling-lined cream flats (only $18!).
