It feels like we were just celebrating Memorial Day Weekend, doesn’t it? Yesterday on Instagram I shared that we had our sunroom furniture installed (YAY) and it has me in the mood to pull out all the fall decor, cozy up with a blanket, and shop for sweaters.
But before we get ahead of ourselves, here’s a look back at what you (and I) loved most in the month of August.
This was one of my top five best sellers from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This boot has a timeless look but the half-moon heel gives it slight interest. I like the cognac leather color as well as the black leather.
Once I bought my first pair of Ugg slippers, I never went back. They’re surprisingly durable and crazy comfortable, and this pair is water-resistant even though it’s suede. Available in 8 cute colors and under $90.
This ribbed cotton tee is so fun. The knotted front adds just enough detail to make even a plain jane pair of jeans and sneakers look put together. It also has amazing reviews and is under $50.
This microfiber blanket has almost 400 reviews from people raving about how soft and cozy it is. Microfiber is amazing because it doesn’t shrink or pill like other fabrics and is SO soft.
I am in LOVE with this tote. It has a slouchy silhouette but not enough to be annoying, is made from pebbled leather that feels like butter, and is large enough to fit a 13″ laptop. The top handles have a really luxurious feel in your hands, but it can also be worn as a crossbody.
Loafer mules are the absolute best for early fall because you can just slip them on with any transitional outfit as you run out the door. I love the almond toe on these and the pretty camel suede color.
This continues to be a reader favorite month over month, especially after people see my honest review with pros/cons. The eBay refurbished version comes 40% off and is almost always in stock.
Can you believe it’s actually time to wear cardigans? This ribbed Topshop cardi is a great length for cozying up and has cuffed sleeves. I love the oatmeal color but it’s also available in olive, gray, and black for under $70.
We have these red wine glasses in our home (received as a wedding gift) and can attest to the quality. They feel good in your hands and have a timeless shape. The set comes with two stemmed and two stemless.
I have this Alo Yoga piece in a deep evergreen color. It’s insanely soft and has slight raw edges at the seams. It was only available in a navy blue color at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale but is currently restocked in pink and light blue as well.

The pointed toe boots + the mules are beautiful.
Thanks for sharing.
