My hope is that this spring will prove to be much more bright and hopeful than 2020, when many people were forced to postpone special plans, including weddings. Chances are that you have at least one spring wedding to attend this year, and if you do, this is what I recommend wearing based on the dress code, from floral print maxi dresses and black tie cocktail dresses to semi-formal jumpsuits.

Spring Wedding Guest Outfit Ideas

1. Mini Dress

A lighter take on the classic LBD, I love the ruffle overlay hemline on this sleeveless short dress. Shop a dupe of this at this online store that sells 2024 short prom dresses.

2. Elegant Jumpsuit

Hear me out: jumpsuits can look so classy. For a wedding, I look for silk or satin fabrics and always opt for cap sleeves, halter, airy bell sleeves, or strapless styles for spring and summer.

3. Floral Dress

For a garden wedding, opt for this pastel light blue midi with neutral accessories. This could also work well as a bridesmaid dress. The scalloped mask is my favorite part of this look! I also love this maxi floral dress and this light blue mini dress.

4. Romantic Midi Dress

I’m always so drawn to this neckline style. The long sleeves are perfect for an indoor wedding with A/C, but the fabric is light enough to keep you cool if you head outdoors for the reception. wrap dress, 

5. Cocktail Dress

The v-line neckline and a-line cut make for a pretty combo in the above dress. I’m not usually big on tulle or chiffon, but it’s so thin here that it just works. Just add strappy sandals and simple jewelry. I also love this cutout lace dress.

6. Classic Slip Dress

My spring take on a sheath dress, this sleeveless slip dress is perfect for an evening ceremony in a warm climate. Pair with neutral or black accessories (love the beaded detail of the clutch above) and a nude lip.
