Slip Skirt and Sneaker Outfits to Try

Sneakers have had such a big resurgence in fashion thanks partially to quarantine, when style trended toward easier, casual, pragmatic clothing. A lot of people lean towards the style but aren’t quite sure how to wear them in a way that doesn’t look too boyish or adolescent.

If you want to test bringing a more laid back feel to your looks, I think one of the best ways to go about it is styling sneakers with a feminine piece, namely a slip skirt. I personally love the combination of a white tee, a skirt, and white sneakers in coordinating colors for a pretty look that’s also really practical.

Whatever you do, don’t overthink it! Try combinations that appeal to you and just see how you like them together. I also think varying up the texture, like a cotton tee with a satin skirt, helps tie the whole look together in a way that doesn’t feel too dressy or too laid back.
