I can honestly say there isn’t one component of fall style I don’t enjoy shopping, but if pressed to choose favorites, boots would be high on the list. A well-made pair of fall boots in a timeless silhouette immediately adds longevity to your wardrobe, especially in a color that warrants endless versatility.

While platform and chunky styles are trending, I’ll always make a case for the classics that will stand their ground in your wardrobe for many years to come. For me, that translates to a select few styles: slim-shaft ankle boots, chelsea boots, and knee-high boots.

While I realize paying more isn’t always realistic, I encourage you to consider higher levels of spending for boots relative to your budget. Not because you have to have xyz brand, but because the sentiment of paying more usually proves to be true when it comes to boots.
