I used to be a neutrals girl through and through, so I’ve surprised myself with how much I’ve gravitated toward brights! Whether a pigmented bag for a pop or a unique occasion dress, wearing color feels like an instant mood boost.

The Zara blazer and top above are my most recent bright purchases. They’re made from light linen that feels good against the skin. The top is simple but the checked print and tie in the back stands out. It’s interesting, sweet, and on-trend without being immodest.
The blazer is a rich sea green and has a menswear-inspired fit, including thin shoulder pads, so I sized down and rolled up the sleeves for a feminine feel.
