David and I got married in October, so I’ve always had a soft spot for fall wedding guest dresses. We have our first wedding of the season in a couple weeks, and I’m excited to get all dressed up, celebrate our friends, and dance the night away. In browsing options, I was blown away by how many beautiful, affordable dresses are out there this year!
Below, I rounded up the best styles I’m seeing under $200. There’s something here for everybody, whether you want long sleeves, moody florals, or need a lightweight option for a warm climate.
What’s your favorite part about fall weddings? I’m excited to wear sleeves and drink a seasonal cocktail! Anyways, shop away and enjoy your fall weddings this year!

Fall Wedding Guest Dresses with Sleeves
In September and maybe early October, you can get away with a sleeveless wedding guest dress like the one I’m wearing, but once temperatures drop, sleeves are the way to go, especially if the ceremony is outdoors. The sweetheart neckline on this one is a showstopper, and this tie-front blush dress would look incredible with black accessories for a pop. This on-trend jewel green dress has a bow at the back for a feminine touch, and you could add a belt to this under $50 H&M red dress for an ultra-affordable option. This is the long sleeve option I’d wear to a super casual fall wedding.
Cocktail and Casual Dresses
For a cocktail setting, this red mini dress is a beauty (also available in a long version). I love the simplicity of this navy one-shoulder dress, and this is a unique take on the classic LBD with pockets. This off-the-shoulder dress is my top pick as far as cocktail options go. For a casual wedding, think florals, chiffons, and puff sleeves. This Reformation dress is so fun (a smidge over $200, but I had to include it!) and this high-low wrap dress is a steal. Almost anything from Faithfull the Brand’s fall dress collection would work for a casual wedding, like this moody black midi dress.
Formal & Semi-Formal Dresses
Finding formal & semi-formal wedding guest dresses under $200 is no small feat, but I’ve got you covered. This black or red column gown is an absolute stunner, and this cutout dress has just enough interest without being overtly ‘sexy’. You’ll wear this black satin midi over and over again (also love it in sage), and this draped one-shoulder gown in toffee is gorgeous for the price (also a hair over $200).
The color of this dress is perfect for the fall. You look amazing
