Fall is my absolute favorite season to shop for. It’s so fun browsing fall new arrivals as they drip in at my favorite retailers, and I’m already imagining all the textured, cozy fall outfits I’ll be sharing with you for the 2021 season!
I have a private Pinterest board where I’m already saving fall clothes I love, and most of what makes the cut is timeless, neutral, and classic. For those of you that are just as excited about fall style as I am, today I’m sharing 10 women’s fall staples that I think everyone should consider this year.
Many popular fall new arrivals tend to sell out before the season rolls around, so it’s a great time to get a head start on checking off your fall wish list! As always, this is a high-low list, meaning that there’s a mix of investment pieces and budget-friendly items.
This wool hat by Janessa Leone has been on my wish list for over a year now. Her silhouettes are classic, and each hat is handcrafted, so they’re made to last. This is a similar option under $30.
This wool wrap coat is the updated version of what I bought last year—I loved mine so much that I’m considering buying it in black. It’s not itchy or overly thick, so it lays beautifully over any base layer.
Straight leg jeans are so “in” right now, and I’m all for it because the cut looks great with fall booties and casual sneakers. I bought these, but I also love this darker wash pair.
The J. Crew Ella coatigan is back! I wore it all the time year and just bought the newest cool brown color. Trust me, this is one of the most versatile pieces you can buy for fall! It has elevated details (lapel, pockets) and drapes beautifully. Size down.
A chunky knit is my go to in early fall when no outerwear is required. If you’re looking for a cozy, oversized sweater to throw on, this one is perfect.
I love Everlane crewneck sweaters because they’re under $100, thin enough to fit under coats and jackets, and are well-made. I go for neutral colors to pair with other fall favorites.
Leather is such an easy way to elevate an everyday fall outfit, but it can be pricey. These faux leather pants are affordable and have 5-star reviews! I’d pair with a cream sweater and heels or low-shaft booties.
I finally pulled the trigger on this crowd favorite tunic dress and can’t wait to wear it with over the knee boots this fall! If you’re worried about the length, I recommend this or this.
Which of the ten caught your eye? Do you have a fall staple on your wish list to purchase in 2021? Let me know in the comments!
