As a fashion blogger, I’m always discovering new brands, whether on Instagram, through a fellow influencer, or browsing a boutique. Oftentimes I’ll find a designer that does one thing particularly well, and that will lead to a discovery of similar brands that share the same perspective.
For all things French fashion, Sezane has been my favorite for years. My sister and I had the chance to visit the NYC store, and it felt like being transported to a Paris apartment full of vintage-inspired, feminine, quality pieces.
If you’ve experienced all the goodness of Sezane and are looking to expand your selection of French-inspired options, below I’m sharing a list of brands like Sezane that I think you’ll love. You’ll also see some of my favorite pieces from each brand linked for your to shop!

BA&SH Dress (Old, Similar Here)
BA&SH offers French romance and effortlessness with a little rock ‘n’ roll. Founded by Barbara Boccara and Sharon Krief (who gave the ba and sh of their names to BA&SH), it has 42 stores in France alone.
They’re a luxury retailer with a focus on elevated staples, from dresses to knits, denim, and accessories. I always find a few gorgeous pieces each season.
Maje is another brand like Sezane that originated in France. They’ve been around for over 20 years and offer bohemian-inspired apparel, many of which are sustainably made.
I think of Sandro as the French cousin to A.L.C. It’s a trendy-casual brand that’s owned by the same group that owns Maje and Claudie Pierlot (aptly named SMCP).
It’s a little more tomboyish than Sezane, with items like zip skater dresses, python jeans, and fringe cardigans. However, they offer feminine pieces too, like this beautiful green midi, this fun cutout dress, and this little white dress.
4. Claudie Pierlot
Claudie Pierlot describes itself as a brand inbued with je ne sais quoi. No piece they offer would look out of place in Paris, from flowing dresses to leather trousers and striped knitwear.
Best of all, almost all the price points are under $500, including their bags, which is rare to find with quality French fashion brands.
Rouje Paris is a breezy, feminine chic brand founded by Jeanne Damas, a French designer and model. The brand is known for its cuts and high quality fabrics, and for taking inspiration from all eras past (from the 40s to the 60s and 80s).
A.P.C. stands for Atelier de Production et de Creation, which summarizes their ethos of quality pieces made with an artistic flare. They focus on items you’ll invest in and have forever, and they have permanent collection of apparel and accessories in addition to seasonal collections.
7. Isabel Marant and Isabel Marant Etoile
Isabel Marant is eponymously named after a French designer known for her boho aesthetic. The pieces are eye-catching but never overthought.
Isabel Marant Etoile is the sister brand that’s more affordable and also quite similar to Sezane.
8. Zadig & Voltaire
Zadig & Voltaire is another French brand like Sezane offering a slightly more rock attitude. Their pieces marry feminine with a wild, free attitude and tend to make more of a statement.
Like many French-inspired brands, Reformation got its start selling vintage clothing out of a small storefront. It then grew into a global brand that celebrates feminine shapes and sustainability.
Reformation is best known for its dresses, but they also offer an amazing selection of seasonal basics such as coats, cardigans, sweaters, tees, blouses, and jeans.
10. Hale Bob
In terms of aesthetics, Hale Bob does slightly bolder prints and brighter colors than you tend to see at Sezane.
There’s also more richness and embellishment, such as lace, velvet, and embroidery, throughout their pieces.
11. IRO Paris
IRO Paris was established in Paris and takes inspiration from the 70’s and 80’s American rock scene, but they add Parisian romanticism.
Designed “for the everyday cool girl,” IRO collections tend to feature pieces that mix leather and cotton, fitted and flowy.
12. & Other Stories
& Other Stories is a lesser known subset of the H&M group. Almost everything they sell is under $300!
It mixes Parisian it-girl, laid back California, and structured Scandinavian styles, and you’ll find a mix of all three online and in stores.
I hope this roundup of brands like Sezane gives you even more French style retailers to shop! If you have any more French clothing stores like Sezane you love, drop a comment below, and I’ll add them to the list.
