How to Wear Chocolate Brown in Fall

Monochrome

As with most color trends this season, I’m seeing a lot of monochromatic outfits. I did this above by layering a knit (mine’s old Rag & Bone, but this is similar) over satin pants with my KHAITE tote and these longtime favorite Ann Taylor suede pumps.

As a Separate, a Dress or in a Layer

If a tonal look feels overwhelming, chocolate is a versatile color that looks great on most skin tones and can also be easily incorporated against denim, black, and colors.

For example:

• A chocolate slip dress with flats and a light layer by day, then heels and a clutch by night.
• A chocolate sweater with denim and flats for a cozy feel.
• A chic chocolate blouse for a polished look with a mini skirt and pumps.
