Crochet is one of my favorite warm weather fabrics because it feels like the epitome of laid-back, breezy style. There’s been a resurgence recently of crochet pieces for warmer weather, but the new take is more sophisticated than the festival-inspired crochet of the ’70s. 2023 crochet traded bright and boho for neutral and wearable. I’ve been seeing designers use it in traditional silhouettes, like sundresses, tank tops, and totes, that make it easy to add a touch of this pretty fabric to your everyday wardrobe.

Black Crochet Dress
This black dress is the perfect example. It’s lined and looks great complemented with gold jewelry, a natural bag, and strappy sandals. I also ordered this crochet dress by AQUA at Bloomingdale’s that will be perfect for date night throughout the summer.
Outfit Details: AQUA Vest, J.Crew Belt, DL1961 Jeans, French Sole Sandals
Crochet Top
This sweet top under $100 is another crochet addition. The color is a warm, pigmented beige, and I styled it down with white denim and sandals, but it styles up just as easily with trousers and heels.
Outfit Details: AQUA Top, Paige Jeans, Amazon the Drop Sandals
Cream Halter Top
Last but not least, I couldn’t resist this cream halter under $100. It looks like a crochet version of an Ulla Johnson top I’ve been crushing on! I’ve always loved halters, but they’re technically “back in” for 2023. I’m dressed it up a bit with a favorite pair of casual jeans by Paige and simple Amazon heeled sandals, but it’ll go great with my AGOLDE cutoffs this summer.

Summer brides, don’t miss this stunning crochet dress. If you’re attending graduation, this shift dress would be perfect. This under $100 crochet cardigan would be the perfect casual layer. My luxury picks are these crochet-trim sneakers (so fun!) and this top and skirt set that was featured in my roundup of two piece sets a few weeks back!
I became obsessed with crochet pieces last year and so excited it’s back again. I grabbed that H&M tote but in black and I just love it so much!

I love it too! The texture is so fun to style!
