I think I could live forever in earth tones. I love the way deep greens, mauvy pinks, golden yellows, and muted browns echo the beauty of nature this time of year, offering a little more romance and interest than the fall neutrals we all know and love.

My two favorite ways to wear an earth tone outfit is in head-to-toe monochrome or mixed and matched in pretty color combinations, like olive and blush pink or marigold and hazelnut.

This season I’ve been buying more saturated earth-toned pieces, like this gold Loulou Studio sweater that I styled in my November Wishlist post. I also surprised myself with how much I love these olive DL1961 jeans. They have a bit of stretch and the length is perfect with boots!

This bronze top is another earthy addition I wore to a fall event and will bring it back for the holidays! Last but not least, these Ulla Johnson jeans have been one of my favorite purchases of the entire season—they are so striking with jewel tones like teal.
