We’ve been spending the past week in one of our favorite summer spots, Whitefish, Montana. It’s such a special place this time of year because the days are unusually long and the weather is just perfection.
The sun doesn’t set until 10pm, so we stay active all day, rotating between hiking, golf, tennis, boating, and biking—there’s so much to do!
For that reason, I brought simple items like roomy shorts, cute sneakers, and linen pants to throw on and go. If you have a similar getaway planned or are in search of relaxed pieces to enjoy the rest of summer, see below for a few I packed and more easygoing styles!
Outfit Details: La Ligne Dress, Steve Madden Sandals
I’d had my eye on this La Ligne dress and grabbed it as I was browsing the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale earlier this month. The jersey cotton is perfect for keeping cool, and I love the flattering a-line silhouette and slender tie.
A few other favorites I brought include these loose-fit trousers (similar, less expensive here), this simple tank top, and my go-with-everything raffia slides. See below for more relaxed summer pieces.
Easy Summer Styles
I’ve been wearing these pull-on shorts nonstop this summer, but I also love this J.Crew style for more casual settings. Perfect for whatever the day brings with a tank top, sandals, hat, and straw tote!

Button Down
This linen button down has been one of my favorite purchases this year! It is tightly woven, has a medium weight that transitions well from day to brisk evenings, and is not see through. For a short sleeve option, I have and love this one from J.Crew.

Cupro Dress
Trust me, this dress will be one of your most-worn summer purchases. Cupro lands somewhere between a slip dress and a t-shirt dress, making it ideal for day to night. I style mine with flats for day and then with a sweater over my shoulders and heeled sandals for evening. It comes in five colors and is under $150!
