Fall Outfit Inspiration with Liverpool Clothing

The days are getting shorter, cool weather is sweeping the country, and a sweater, denim, and workwear refresh is much needed for the months ahead! I’m excited to share four outfits with you from Liverpool Los Angeles, a brand that specializes in high-quality jeans at reasonable price points in addition to comfortable, unique fabrics, which you’ll see in their blazers, sweaters, t-shirts, and trousers below. Two of these fall outfits can go from day to night, and two are great for the office if you’re in need of a seasonal workwear refresh.

Suede Boyfriend Blazer + Liverpool Bootcut Jeans

Outfit Details: Suede Boyfriend Blazer (S), Bootcut Jeans (Size 4), Scoop Neck Tee, Slingbacks, Belt

This suede boyfriend blazer is my favorite piece from this entire haul! It rivals the fit and feel of designer blazers I own and comes in more colors (non-suede). The fit is a little oversized, and the suede is perfect for adding texture this fall. It’s not too relaxed nor too tailored, so you could easily wear it in casual, office, and dressy looks. If you’re looking for a pair of fall jeans to dress up and down, this dark wash bootcut pair is great. They have a bit of stretch for comfort, so I would size down if you’re between sizes. I finished the look off with this black 3/4 sleeve scoop neck tee, which feels soft against the skin, is under $60, and has a classic cut.

Oversized Sweater + Liverpool High-Rise Crop Jeans

Outfit Details: Sweater (sized up to M), Cropped Jeans (4), Similar Heels, Earrings

Most sweaters with a soft hand will run your $150+, but this one is $98 and comes in four colors. It’s warm but not heavy, and I sized up to the M for an oversized fit. The side slits on this sweater make for easy front tucking and help it look put together when left untucked, too. I absolutely love these button fly, high-rise crop jeans. The wash is dark but not too deep (read: versatile), and while technically cropped, they’re a great length for a variety of shoe types on my 5’9″ frame, including booties. Just like the bootcut pair, they have stretch and are ultra comfy. I recommend sizing down if you’re between sizes.

Sleeveless Ribbed Top + Full-Length Trousers

Sleeveless Ribbed Top for fall

Outfit Details: Rib Knit Top (S), Brown Trousers (4), Suede Belt, Pumps, Similar Bag, Gold Layering Necklace

If you work in an office all day and are looking for full-length trousers you can sit, stand, and walk in comfortably, I think you’ll love this pair. The label says flare, but I consider them more of a bootcut. I have muscular legs and didn’t find these too binding. They have about 10% spandex and are a thicker material that’s great for fall and winter! Size down if between sizes (I’m finding this generally true across the brand). The rib knit sleeveless top looks great tucked, layered, or on its own. It’s true to size. I finished the look with a suede belt, suede hobo, and nude pumps.

Liverpool Boyfriend Blazer + Ankle Trousers

Outfit Details: Boyfriend Blazer (S), Scoop Neck Tee (S), Ankle Trousers (4), Belt, Slingbacks

I would have worn these ankle trousers multiple times weekly if they’d been around back in my corporate days. They will go far in your work wardrobe (especially for fall and winter since they’re knit) as will the matte version of the boyfriend blazer I mentioned above. This $119 blazer is the perfect layering piece for weekday, evening, and work and comes in more colors. I styled it with the scoop neck tee from the first look (you could also try a bodysuit or silky blouse), slingbacks, and a thin belt for a pop.
