We’re in the thick of winter here in Raleigh, with temperatures dipping into the 20s lately. Personally, I love the cold and the cozy, warm clothing we reach for in the midst of it. I have a relatively large collection of cream, white, beige, and black sweaters, so it’s no secret I’m a lover of neutrals and muted fall tones.
The taupe mock neck sweater I’m sharing with you today is no exception. It’s lightweight, so when spring makes an appearance, I can easily tuck it into a pair of shorts. One of my favorite features of this sweater is the mock neck. I’ve been a lover of mock necks since long before they came back in style. Maybe it’s the 90s child in me, but they lay well under layers and draw attention up to the face without the bulk of a turtleneck.
This sweater is under $80 and comes in eight pretty colors here, and I found it in white here. I found a few similar styles I love, like this cream bishop sleeve sweater and this crazy beautiful ribbed sweater currently 60% off. You’ll find me wearing sweaters like this paired with my favorite jeans, a pair of sunglasses, a soft puffer jacket, and my go-to winter shoes into late February. To be honest, though, I’ll probably wear this year-round as I love to have a layer to reach for during chillier spring nights and summer evenings at the beach.
