Best of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022
I also wanted to include my personal Nordstrom Anniversary Sale picks and wish list in this post. This year, I decided to approach the sale differently, focusing on pieces that are higher in price point but will be in my closet for years.
I focused my efforts on the $150+ items from brands with a reputation for quality. This it’s what’s on my wish list and will likely be added to cart!
Classic cashmere sweaters in a slim fit are perfect for any occasion. I love that this one is under $100 and comes in 9 colors. If you’re all set on crewneck styles, this v-neck option is just as pretty.

Camel Coat
A great camel coat is a fall/winter piece with the power to bring an entire look up a notch, whether layered over joggers and sneakers for travel or a sweater dress for a night out. I have several Reiss coats and was so happy to see this belted, notched lapel classic coat included in the sale.
Shop NowFRAME makes gorgeous designer alternative handbags under $500 with minimalist designs, in versatile colors, and with high-quality materials. This taupe crossbody bag is a great hands-free option for year-round wear.

Leather Tote
On weekdays when you’re running around town or packing up all your essentials to head to the office, a roomy tote is a must. Another FRAME find, this large shopper tote has a flat bottom for stability and a generous interior.
Shop NowI was disappointed with the NSale denim selection overall, but these PAIGE straight leg jeans are a standout! I have this cut (Cindy) in other washes, and I’m excited to add a mid-wash to the mix for pairing with moodier fall hues as the weather cools off. They have a bit of stretch and fit true to size.

Wool Blazer
Blazers with a classic fit (not too shrunken or too loose) like this one add a chic touch to any look. It’s the perfect wear now and later color, too; style with a white t-shirt & shorts now, with a cashmere hoodie & jeans later, or with coordinating wool pants in winter. Endless outfit ideas with this piece.

Silk Blouse
If you don’t have a classic blouse in your wardrobe, this one is a must see. Vince has been my go-to for dressy essential tops for years, and their silk fabric is my favorite. If you’d get better use out of a more casual blouse given your lifestyle, this is a great cotton investment option.
Shop NowI have this camisole in black and plan to pick it up in another color. The neckline is modest yet shows just enough skin to feel feminine. It is incredibly versatile and can be worn on its own (doesn’t look like lingerie) or layered. This is a must from the sale in my book.
Shop NowI’ve never owned a pair of designer sunglasses but tried on a pair of Celines during our vacation to Cabo this spring, and in about 10 seconds I understood the value. One wear gives you a sense of how well made (yet light) the acetate is, and there’s something special in the design of Celine frames that flatters the cheekbones.
Shop NowThere’s a reason you’re seeing three satin pieces on this list, and that’s because it is a versatile year-round texture and it’s usually expensive! This classic midi slip dress with intentional rumpling (AKA no worries about wrinkles) can be your easy throw-on piece this summer and then styled with lightweight layers and accessories in early fall.

Leather Pants
Leather pants typically cost $1,000+, so these are a steal at 40% off. The inseam and slim leg makes them ideal for pairing with a wide many shoe types (flats, sneakers, heels, boots in various shaft heights). The leather will become even more supple over time. If you’re on a smaller budget, the crowd-favorite Spanx faux leather leggings are also on sale.

Designer Boots
These a bit architectural to earn the label “classic,” but if you’re looking for comfortable (read: block heel) leather boots at the sale, these are your best bet. They also come in suede. If you need to fill a gap for high heel booties in your wardrobe, I recommend these.

Slingbacks
For my working ladies or anyone who likes to dress up their looks a touch, these Stuart Weitzman slingbacks are a great option under $250. Slip them on with jeans and a basic top, a dressy shorts outfit, or with a summer dress. They remind me of the iconic Chanel slingback sans the block heel, black toe, and sky high price point.
