Over the years, I’ve become a devout Shopbop lover. If you’ve been reading long enough, this isn’t news to you—they carry designer brands that are contemporary yet timeless, elegant yet polished. And any purchase can be on your doorstep in two days if you have Amazon Prime!
Whether you’re looking for the perfect pair of knee high boots to last you ages or a go-with-everything scarf, you’re likely to find it there. Below, I’m highlighting 12 of my favorite things at Shopbop that are truly worth the splurge and why.
PS—If you’re not ready to make it official with an investment piece, scroll down to the very bottom of the post for a list of under-$2sale00 fall recommendations from Shopbop this season!
If you’re looking for a classic, comfortable, leather knee high boot, the Loeffler Randall Goldy boots are hands down my top recommendation. The round toe gives them a timeless feel, and the shaft is just roomy enough for skinny jeans. I have them in camel—Shopbop has them in both brown and black. See how I’ve styled mine here and here.
If you’re searching for the perfect pair of dark wash skinny jeans to wear with flats, sneakers, or—most importantly—to tuck into knee high boots, look no further. These FRAME jeans are slimming and hold their shape well while having the tiniest bit of give for comfort. I wear my true size. See them on me here.
I consider a lace camisole a must-have staple because they can be worn on their own in the summer but also transition easily as a base layer into the cooler months and may even work under suiting in an office, depending on the setting. I size down to avoid a too-low cut as I’m small busted. See it on me here and here.
Shopbop carries several brands I love for bags, and since I couldn’t choose just one, I’m recommending ones to consider browsing. The bags to the left are by Senreve—I own the Aria belt bag (see it styled on me here). More bags worth browsing: Mansur Gavriel, Tory Burch, and Hunting Season.
If you haven’t given a classic button up a chance in your wardrobe, let me convince you. Wear it with denim and flats for a Parisian look. Tie it in front and wear it with a slip skirt. Style underneath a coatigan with a popped collar. These truly are a closet staple, and this slim fit option by Vince helps you avoid a boxy look and is layering friendly.
I sat on this bodysuit for well over a year and finally bought it at the recommendation of a fellow blogger. Wolford only does hosiery and bodysuits, and this one is perfection in every way: incredible fit that’s tight but doesn’t suffocate you or show bra lines, deep black color with subtle sheen, and made with fabrics that don’t easily snag or run. You won’t look back!
You will be so happy if you indulge in this skirt because, let me tell you, not all slip skirts are equal. This one has a slim fit that flatters your figure while still maintaining movement and drape. The length works with heels, flats, or boots, and the silk feels incredible. Plus, it has an elastic waistband for comfort. It’s pricey, but the thoughtfulness of the design makes it worth every penny.
This wrap scarf can be worn dozens of ways and goes with everything. Perfect for cold fall and winter days and for women who travel often and need something cozy on a plane. It’s large enough to be used as a “blanket” but doesn’t look bulky whatsoever when worn around the neck or shoulders. I have yet to find something that rivals the quality and color selection!
Vince makes some of the best classic, high quality cashmere sweaters. These are great staples pieces to add to your fall and winter wardrobe over time, starting with neutrals like white and taupe. They work well with jeans but are elevated enough to be worn with skirts and dress pants. The knit is firmer than cheap cashmeres so pilling is minimal.
I’d been looking for a nude ankle strap sandal for ages, and these are not only a great price but are comfortable. I wore them most recently to a fall wedding but they look great with denim and pants for date night as well. They’re available in nude and black at the sale. I took my true size.
