We’re having such a beautiful mild spring season here in North Carolina, and it’s been really fun to pull out my lightweight jackets, layers, and other seasonal essentials. Ever since the pandemic started, I’ve found myself in casual outfits more often than not (think sneakers, sandals, and t-shirts vs. high heels), and I know you guys are probably the same. I’ve got a really easy casual outfit for you guys to replicate with pieces mostly under $200 below in neutral tones anyone can pull off.
If you’re surprised to see me wearing Abercrombie, I’m in the same boat. The brand has really made a comeback over the last several years and now carries sophisticated pieces with great quality, like the under $100 bodysuit and affordable moto jacket I’m wearing above.
I love layering neutrals, and this outfit is no exception. I picked up these jeans from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last summer and they’re (finally) back in stock! Size up, as they run a bit small; they’re the kind of jeans that make you feel good in your own skin, if you know what I mean. I wore them with booties last fall and love how they look with sneakers for warmer weather.
To complete the outfit I added my quilted Tory Burch bag, which is a nice mid-priced option if you’re not ready to splurge on something designer. The chain is convertible, so you can wear it as a crossbody if you’ve got your hands full. Last but not least, my Veja v-lock sneakers completed this look. I own three pairs of Vejas and these are my favorite—they’re so easy to put on and the neutral color combination works with just about any outfit. The velcro gives them a laid back style that I have been loving for errands, casual outings, and date night.
I linked a few more neutral options for layering below, just to get you inspired! You can shop my exact outfit by clicking the links or following me in the LIKEtoKNOW.it app, where I post seasonal outfits and recent finds daily. xo!
