Fringe is hands down the spring/summer 2023 trend I find myself gravitating toward the most. It’s so playful without being too over the top. Two fringe dresses made the cut when packing for our recent trip to Cabo: this eye-catching floral dress that puts fringe front and center and this affordable fringe mini dress with subtle tassel details.

Floral, white, and bright dresses will always rule the roost of a spring wardrobe, but I’d argue that a fringe mini, midi, or maxi is one of those “trendy” additions that you’ll find yourself reaching for well beyond this season.

Zimmermann is one of my favorite brands for resort wear, and this strappy maxi dress (also in white) caught my eye back in December. I finally added it to my cart during one of Saks Fifth Avenue’s 25% Off Friends and Family Events. In Mexico, I paired it with these Dolce Vita raffia sandals under $100. They look like the Aquazurra heels I was swooning over last summer for a fraction of the price!

I took an XS and it fit perfectly. I will say, the tassels on the fringe skirt can be frustrating when you’re putting it on, but it’s worth it because this dress is so fun and flattering to wear.

I also embraced the tassel trend with this sweet linen mini dress under $100. The square neckline is so flattering. I paired it with the same heels I mentioned above, shashi earrings, and my favorite Caterina Bertini shoulder bag. All the raffia details against the linen completed the beachy feel of this look, and it was perfect for cocktails and dinner out on our Cabo vacation.

If you don’t have a fringe dress on hand, I highly recommend one now that it’s officially spring. Take it with you on vacation, wear it to a spring/summer wedding, or be bold and bring it out for date night. Fringe details are a trendy way to make your warm weather dressing just a bit more fun!
