One of my favorite parts of spring and summer is that golden hour lingers a little longer at the bookends of the day. I love rising early and staying up late to enjoy it, whether for morning coffee on the porch, a sunrise stroll at the beach, or a joy ride after dinner. It’s also my favorite time of year for loungewear. There’s nothing better than being barefoot in something cozy, comfy, and breezy.
If you’re looking for some new warm weather pajamas or loungewear to enjoy, I’m rounding up the brands I think make the best styles for relaxing in this spring and summer.
Spring/Summer Pajamas and Loungewear
Lake Pajamas
Lake Pajamas is my number one PJ recommendation. The fabric used in their cotton pajamas is incredibly soft, slightly stretchy, and doesn’t dull in the wash. They have seasonal patterns and prints in all different PJ sets (pants, shorts, sleeveless tops, short sleeve tops, and long sleeve tops) to suit your preferences. My favorite is the Pima Shorts Pajama Set. The Cozy Robe is my all-time favorite robe (the tie is attached) and makes a great gift. Consider sizing up in the PJs as they do shrink a bit in the dryer.
Eberjay
If you prefer traditional button down pajamas, Eberjay is a favorite for high-quality sets. The Gisele Collection is their best seller (comes in long sleeve/pants, long sleeve/shorts, and short sleeve/shorts). They’re made with 95% TENCEL for great temperature-regulation, and the material feels amazing on and has pretty drape. I recommend getting your true size; they’re roomy but not oversized in fit.
Doen
Doen releases a small collection of sleepwear annually, and if you like feminine designs, don’t miss them. The gowns have romantic details, like scallop edges and flutter sleeves, that would be beautiful on a honeymoon or for mommas taking intimate newborn or bump photos. In my experience, these run true to size and the whites tend to be a little sheer.
Jenni Kayne
If you like to keep the A/C blasting and live in a cooler climate, the Jenni Kayne Saturday Sweatpant and Sweatshirt makes a great luxe lounge set. There’s no drawstring to get in the way on the sweats, and the fit is not too tight nor too saggy. These run true to size, but hang dry them only. Jenni Kayne also has a selection of tank tops, culottes, slippers, and half zips if you’re looking to add even more to your collection of cozies.
GAP
My sister put me onto GAP modal sleepwear when she was pregnant (in the crazy Texas heat). Their MODAL tanks and shorts comes in non-maternity and are incredibly cool, soft, and flattering for the price. I love the color selection (sage, lilac, stripe alongside the traditional neutrals). And don’t miss their summer robes, which are made in the same breathable fabric.
