If you’ve been keeping up with my Weekend Notes posts, you know I’ve been on the prowl for a new work tote. I spent a lot of time searching for a classic, neutral bag, and I’m happy to say that I finally found the one! It’s my first designer tote, so after it arrived, I felt extra motivated to keep it clean & organized. Since I’ve never written a “what’s in my bag” post, I thought it’d be fun to share the must-have items I’m carrying in my new tote this summer.

Pouches & Organization

Card Holder: I’ve started carrying less cash over time, so I replaced my wallet with a Celine cardholder that fits into even my smallest bags. I found a very similar cardholder under $100 here.

Tech Case: The only downside of my new bag is that it doesn’t have any compartments. I use this to keep my chargers and editing hardware organized.

Canvas Pouch: This summery canvas pouch is perfect for storing miscellaneous items like a protein bar, receipts, pens, and AirPods.

Clear Pouches: I have the Truffle mini and small storage pouches for things like makeup, medicine, and feminine products. They’re really easy to wipe down if a spill occurs.

Key Ring: My sister introduced me to this wrist key ring, and I love it. Quality is great for under $10!

Beauty & Miscellaneous

Mini Brush: I always carry a brush and a clip in case I want to throw my up on hot days. The brush comes in over a dozen colors and patterns.

Lip Gloss: Charlotte Tilbury’s Jewel Lips gloss is my new go-to for summer. Trust me, this is a must have if you like nude lips with a little sheen! The sparkle is soft and it’s not at all sticky.

Sunglasses: These oversized sunglasses are what I’ve been wearing most lately, but I love my Ray-Bans as well.

Notebook: I customize a Golden Coil planner every six months that helps me stick to my daily routines—it’s always with me! I also use Appointed Co. notebooks every day.
