Happy December! In some ways, it feels like we’ve been anxiously waiting for this month all year, and in other ways, it feels like it snuck up on us. If there’s anything 2020 has taught me, it’s to enjoy spending time at home with family for the gift that it is. I think the simple things—decorating our home, cozying up to shop online, baking Christmas cookies—will be easier to savor this year. But before we dive into the holiday season, here’s a look back at the products you (and I) loved most in November.
- These booties continue to be a best seller for cold weather and are currently marked down to under $100. I wear mine weekly, they fit true to size, and the heel height is very comfortable.
- I shared this Revlon styler in my women’s gift guide as an alternative to expensive options like the Dyson Airwrap, and it’s been a big hit. It’s under $60, has 2,000 positive reviews, and would make a useful (and fun!) gift.
- This charmeuse slip skirt has a comfortable, flattering fit (seen on me here). If you haven’t styled a skirt casually in cold weather before, give it a try! I recommend a knit cardigan, a white tee, and sneakers. Similar skirts for less here and here.
- My love for casual outerwear has grown exponentially this year (as seen here) for the laid back, wrapped feeling jackets offer as you go about your day. J. Crew really nails the Sherpa category with fleece jackets (currently 50% off) that work just as well for morning walks as they do for holiday errands around town.
- This beautiful wool blend coat has a classic, double-breasted silhouette, is long enough to layer over jeans, skirts, and dresses, comes in four colors, and is currently 40% off.
- This woven tree collar is timeless yet affordable. The 26″ width should work well for a variety of artificial and real Christmas trees.
- Cute and practical, these shearling winter boots have a lug sole for traction and a thinner shaft gives them a more tailored look than other chunky boot styles. Also available here. Similar, less expensive here and here.
- Perfect for your husband, brother, dad, or a guy friend, this French terry hoodie is the best seller from my men’s gift guide. It has a slight vintage flair, and David loves his.
- I picked up this $30 blanket while browsing the Christmas selection at Target and have been thoroughly impressed by how it feels and holds up through washes. Faux fur is a great way to layer wintery textures that enhance a cozy feel in any room.
- If you like the idea of layering sweaters or even a jacket underneath a winter coat, you’ll love this oversized, wool-blend option. Keep your eye out for a sale (it was marked down 50% over Cyber weekend). It comes in 6 colors, from the classic camel to a unique grey plaid.
Thanks for sharing the tree collar. I am ordering it now, there is only 1 left in wake forest.
Oh yay!! I know, the Target Christmas collection is selling so quickly! We love our garlands we got there. Let me know how you like it!
