February is flying by with spring just around the corner. Today we woke up to sunshine and blue skies, and I couldn’t be happier! When it comes to spring fashion, I have a selective approach, shunning things like light pastels, and embracing other aspects. One spring staple I’ve always loved are romantic blouses with flounce, ruffles, and statement details. These tops will take you well into spring and summer, especially when paired with your favorite pair of denim or white jeans.
I paired my white blouse with light denim, but it could be worn with a skirt or shorts. I love the neckline to show a little collarbone (one of the most feminine parts of the body!) and the flounce on the sleeves. I paired it with a woven bag (my first!), which adds a warmer-weather touch. I absolutely love this bag and will be carrying it well into summer.

I found it interesting that you state that adding the woven bag to the blouse adds a warm-weather touch to the outfit. My wife’s birthday is coming up and I want to get her some new clothes that help her feel comfortable with herself. I will keep this in mind and start looking for different blouses and bags that she would like.
