What’s On My November Wishlist

Outfit Details: Reformation Shirt Jacket (size S), AGOLDE Tee (size S), B-Low the Belt Belt, Rag & Bone Jeans (TTS)

Cheers to a new month! Temps turned cold right on the eve of the 1st, but it was a welcome change. We made this soup while waiting on trick or treaters and turned on the fireplaces for the first time! And I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being enveloped head to toe in all the cozies this week: wrap coats, leather boots, and cashmere sweaters galore.

If you’re anything like me, seeing November on the calendar prompts a shift away from fall toward all things festive. Somehow I’m feeling more excitement than usual about the next eight weeks (usually it’s a mix of anticipation and overwhelm). I’m not sure why, but I think this holiday season is going to be extra special.

I have so much I can’t wait to share with you in November, from Thanksgiving outfits to a boot guide, coat try on, and holiday outfit ideas, but below is a peek at some of my personal favorite finds for the month ahead! Many of these are in my cart or bookmarked as a gift to give. Enjoy, and Happy November!

November Wishlist

November Wishlist

A large chunk of this list focuses on holiday party styles and cold weather pieces for our trips to New York City and Paris, but if you’re still shopping early/mid fall style, check out my my fall wishlist.

Classic Straight Leg Jeans

Finding full-length, straight leg jeans that are not too rigid, too expensive, or too baggy is a challenge. Two of my favorite straight leg pairs are dark washes by AGOLDE and MOTHER, and for some reason, the blue denim versions of the exact same styles just don’t fit the same. I recently ordered the ’90s Straight Jean at Madewell in mid blue wash and dark blue wash, and I hit the jackpot. They are rigid enough to give that vintage denim feel but not so much that they take ages to break in. Super comfy, not too tight. I ordered my normal size in standard length (my inseam is about 31 inches). Don’t miss these!

Rollers

Not fashion, but great hair is the best accessory! I’ve actually had these $10 Amazon rollers for several months, so my wishlist for November is to actually figure out how to use them for the holidays. My hair is fine and I have a lot of it, so even when it’s curled and styled, the weight tends to make it go limp at the root and I’m hopeful these rollers will give me a little boost.

Tods Sneakers

We’re headed to Paris in December, so I’ve been on the prowl for a pair of chic, comfortable sneakers that will go with everything. I’m crossing my fingers for a Black Friday sale on the Tod’s Kate sneaker in cream. If not, the Veja Venturi are a close second for a whole lot less.

Crossbody Bag

I’m not sure if it’s because I don’t live in a walking city or that on the weekends I typically just carry my card case or Lululemon belt bag, but my wardrobe is really lacking in hands-free bags. I feel like I “should” go with a classic neutral flap like (from lowest to highest), the J.Crew Edie, the Sezane Milo, or the Celine Triomphe. But the look, size, and texture of the Bottega Mini Loop just keeps calling my name! I need to do my research and see if it’ll be available in Paris at a lower price, but I know Saks will be having a great Black Friday sale. I hope it’s included!

Striped Pet Sweater

Fashion for our furry friends! Whenever I share our golden Huck on Instagram stories, I realize how many of you are fellow dog lovers. I stumbled on this pet sweater at GAP, which comes in L and XL sizes for big floofs (up to 90lbs, which is so hard to find!). Immediately ordered and can’t wait to indulge in taking all the photos of our Hucky bear in this.

Oversized Outerwear

Coats are some of the most enduring pieces in my wardrobe (see the camel coats I’ve tried, ranked for a few favorites), and I’m always looking for high-quality options in colors I don’t yet have. I’m warming up to the oversized outerwear trend and this beige LouLou Studio coat looks like the perfect shade to span both warm and cool palettes. I absolutely love their sweaters but have yet to try their outerwear, so I’ll keep you posted on this one! Here’s a similar topcoat at Abercrombie (their coats tend to be stiffer, but they are very pretty and warm).

Stiletto Knee-High Boots

I have this little note on my phone titled ‘Closet List’ that I add to when I find myself repeatedly styling outfits and feeling like I’m missing an essential. Lately, I have needed dressy tall boots more times than I can count! While I love my Loeffler Randall boots to death, I need a stiletto heel for evening. These mid-shaft boots caught my eye, and for knee-high, I’m torn between a black suede (also love the chestnut color) and black leather (similar under $100 here).

Bow Taffeta Skirt

I’ve been scouring the Internet for a budget-friendlier version of this Bernadette bow mini skirt. This MANGO skirt is close, but I’m realizing this may be a buy once, cry once situation since it’s so unique. If you’re a size 2, it’s 50% off in marigold and black at MATCHES, and 35% off in pink at Net-a-Porter! Since I need a different size, I’m eyeing the navy to wear with heels and a creamy knit or a festive top like this or this.

Velvet Pants

These Galvan velvet pants have been on my radar since last December but are too pricey to justify the cost per wear. Mango just released a $50 velvet pant in plum and black, and the plum went straight into my cart! I’m seeing them with a sparkly top and embellished heels, this gold lame top I purchased from Veronica Beard earlier in the season (Zara has similar for less), or the J.Crew lady jacket that’s been such a hit this fall.

Holiday Party Accessories

Since sparkly styles aren’t something I reach for often (though metallics are a fall fashion trend), I try to keep holiday accessories on the affordable side. Last year I bought these comfortable kitten heels and wore them to nearly every holiday event. These gold heels are something you could bring back every December, and I like the look of these rhinestone sandals. These metallic platforms are giving Loeffler Randall for less. As for bags, this Amazon rhinestone bag looks like Cult Gaia. If you want to spend more on a clutch you could also wear to weddings, this Loeffler Randall pouch would be perfect. As for jewelry, these dangle earrings are a steal and come in gold and silver.

More Holiday Party Styles

Can you tell my holiday style wishlist is about a mile long? There are only so many times in life that tinsel, embellishments, sparkle, velvet, and fringe are called for, so I’m trying to take advantage and have fun with it! You can see almost everything I’ve got my eye on in my LTK Holiday Style Shop. A few noteworthy are this ombre dress (this COS dress is similar for less), which could be reworn for a winter wedding down the road, this H&M sequined dress, this J.Crew fringe-trim skirt, this Reformation mini dress that only needs tights, boots, and jewelry to shine.
