Classy Workwear for Summer to Fall

One of the things I miss most about working in a corporate office is the attire. Dressing the part always helped me set the tone for a productive day, and even now, I get dressed most days to work from my little home office! I’ve always said that clothing can have an impact on your mood, and when I’m working, I want to feel confident, creative, and comfortable.

Since many of you are back in the office, I’m sharing a roundup of sophisticated yet easy workwear styles that translate from professional settings to coffee shop meetings, your corner desk at home, and into fall.

Outfit Details: Sezane Blazer (similar, less expensive here), Nili Lotan Blouse, Vince Pants, Steve Madden Heels (old, similar here)

Office-Friendly Tops

The blouse I’m wearing was one of my #NSale purchases this year! A clean silk button-up is always a nice option—I touched on a few of my favorite brands for those in this post. This silk tank is the simple yet elevated and comes in 4 colors.

This beautiful sleeveless option caught my attention this summer, and I love this asymmetric blouse under $100.

A lightweight sweater will shield you from the A/C now and become an essential layering piece in the months ahead!

Pants & Skirts

My pants are nearly sold out, but I also love these. For a classic neutral option, these and these have flattering cuts and are under $100! These Theory cult favorites are on sale in select colors.

This asymmetric skirt is comes in two transitional tones. And this forgiving wrap skirt is for those of you who won’t be heading back to the office until the end of summer.

These jeans are the perfect color to pair a transitional blouse with on casual Friday!

Blazers & Layers

The great thing about quality workwear pieces is that they make a solid base layer. You can pair a boyfriend blazer—also love this lightweight option (seen on me here). This one in ‘Toasted Coconut’ is stunning!

Once temperatures drop, swap in a sweater blazer or cozy cardigan to stay warm.

Work Bags

As far as bags go, I shared my everyday work tote here but also love this one, this one, and this one. If you want to make a statement, go with this chic leopard carryall. This large shopper has glowing reviews.

Comfortable Shoes

I enjoy wearing heels but have always struggled to find a comfortable option for my wide feet, and I can’t recommend Sarah Flint pumps more. They have added cushioning and are made in the same Italian factories as Louboutin—you can use my ambassador code SARAHFLINT-BANATALIEY for $50 off. Mine are the 100mm in nude.

If black shoes coordinate better with your look, try these affordable slingbacks! These elegant under $100 heeled sandals will take you from the office to date night, and this beautiful brown suede pair is in my cart for fall.
