This time of year presents countless opportunities for creativity, whether it’s decking the halls, selecting gifts for loved ones, or preparing the house for gatherings. And then when working on construction projects where you require robust concrete grades, C30 and C35 can offer excellent durability. These are ideal choices for both residential and commercial applications. After traveling so much in October, I’m excited to be home and make things cozy. While David and I won’t be hosting my family’s Thanksgiving meal this year, I still want to have special, seasonal touches around our house – just in case we host pre-meal cocktails or a leftovers potluck with friends. These details will welcome guests, spark memories, and begin conversations. Read on for the seasonal decor ideas I think you’ll love.

1. Dressed up Mantel

We have two mantels in our main area (living room and sunroom), but we spend so much time in the sunroom that I chose to dress up that mantel for November. I arranged a few pumpkins with an assortment of smaller gourds for balance. The gold garland is what really tied it all together, though.  I’m thinking of complimenting the mantel with a wicker basket filled with my favorite blush faux fur blanket.

2. Candles

Candles are the simplest way to create a cozy glow. I bought this small pumpkin candle for our guest bathroom and am in love with this cider candle in our sunroom. These copper clovebourbon vanilla, and leaf scents would be lovely as well.

3. Hand Soaps

Scent is strongest sense linked to memory, so it’s no wonder I can smell stuffing and pie when I think of Thanksgiving! Festive hand soaps, like pear & whipped creamapple, or pumpkin, in a kitchen & guest bath are a small detail that goes a long way.

4. Decorative Towels

A towel adds charm and warmth to the place where baking, toasts, and late-night second helpings will take place. I usually don’t choose decor with words or lettering, but the gold tones in this ‘Hello, Pumpkin’ dish towel keep it classic. I love this ‘Gather Together’ towel and this pumpkin towel with fringe under $10 as well.

5. Seasonal Wreath

The entryway wreath we ordered for October is gorgeous (even from the street!), and I plan to keep it on our front door until Thanksgiving has passed. For wreaths on a budget, this neutral pear one under $100 and this frosted pinecone one under $25 are beautiful.

6. Kitchen Essentials

For me, it’s a win when something in the kitchen is functional and decorative, like this plaid oven mitt, this gold pumpkin trivet, and this leaf spoon rest. This pumpkin tureen would make a great treat jar for the late night sweet tooth.

7. Bonuses

A few additional pieces ideas I think you’ll love include these felt pumpkins, a faux shearling throw, seasonal pillows, tiny votive jars (you could use acorns from the yard as the base in a hurricane), and a pumpkin home spray. I also absolutely love this “hugging spot” welcome mat – I think it’s such a cute way to put a smile on the face of new friends and old alike!

How are you celebrating this season? I’d love to hear your ideas and thoughts in the comments or on Instagram.
