Happy New Year! To kick off 2021, I’m rounding up the top-selling, most-clicked, favorite products from 2020. For me, there are no surprises in this list—chances are you’ve heard me talk about or have seen me wear most if not all of these things. Some I’ve had for years, and a few are new discoveries that I don’t know how I ever lived without (ahem—looking at you, Dyson hair dryer).
Without further ado, here are the top 10 from 2020!
1. Dyson Hair Dryer
The #1 best seller by a landslide, the Dyson Hair Dryer tops the list of “things I don’t know how I ever did my hair without.” It dries my hair much faster, is smoothing, and prevents damage. If you’re curious, read my full review (and don’t miss the link to the certified refurbished Dysons that go for about $125 less than retail price).
2. White Tote
This cream tote is so cute and spacious. I shared it in my spring capsule and it was a huge hit. It has an inner zip pocket, an outer pocket, and can fit a small tablet or laptop.
3. Everlane Trench Coat
This is hands-down my favorite jacket purchase from this year. It’s basically the most flattering, comfortable trench coat out there for the price, and it looks just as good dressed down with jeans as it does over a dress. If you prefer a more traditional trench, this J.Crew option was another best seller this year.
4. Faux Fur Throw Blanket
Soft, cozy, and large, I now have this Target faux fur blanket in two colors. It’s machine washable and (gasp!) only $30 which is an absolute steal when compared to other popular faux fur styles like the Barefoot Dreams and Anthropologie throws.
5. Marc Fisher Booties
You are missing out on one of the most comfortable, flattering pairs of ankle boots out there if you haven’t gotten your hands on these Marc Fisher boots. The neutral color goes with everything, and the heel height and shaft are perfect—you get the leg-lengthening effect but they don’t run into the hem of your jeans. The same brand also makes this nearly identical pair for under $100.
6. Lounge Set
Loungewear took on a whole new meaning last year, and this set was my top seller in the category. While I don’t (yet) own a pair, I’m eyeing the agave green color. It could definitely be worn for a quick errand out—just layer a classic camel tie coat and throw on white sneakers.
7. Wine Glasses
David and I received Riedel wine glasses as a wedding gift and we’re going on over 5 years strong with no chips, cracks, or issues! They feel great in your hands, look classic, and are dishwasher safe. We still uses these cabernet glasses (different brand, but our favorites), but this is a nice collection of whites and reds from Riedel.
8. Wool Wrap Coat
I truly think that this Cole Haan coat is one of the best classic wool wrap coats available for the price. I’ve had mine for five years and counting. It comes in several colors (I have the bone color), is flattering on, is lined…I could go on. If you’re looking for a longer option in a true camel tone, this Mango wrap coat was also a best seller in 2020.
9. Black Barrette
I was SO happy to see that you guys love this dainty velvet barrette just as much as I do! I love supporting the small businesses on Etsy and this is such a well-made, cute feminine touch to spruce up any look, especially in the wintertime. See how I styled mine half-up with the barrette in this post.
10. French Country Mirror
Second to our rugs, our floor and wall mirrors are the most-asked-about items in our home. Unfortunately, all are either sold out or vintage, but when I found this brass french country mirror at Target that looks JUST like our sunroom mirror, I was so excited to share it! The reviews say it looks more expensive than it is, and it photographs beautifully.
